Tim Rose Joins Shaphargroup Board as Strategic Executive Director

We are pleased to announce that Tim Rose, a distinguished governance leader and board advisor, has joined the Board of Directors at Shaphargroup.

With a career spanning investment banking, economic consultancy, and international corporate advisory, Tim brings over three decades of experience in strategic leadership, risk oversight, and board effectiveness across commercial, government, and mission-driven organizations.

As the Founder and Managing Director of Growbridge Advisors, Tim has advised and chaired organizations across sectors — including insurance, education, financial services, and international development — delivering board transformations, turnaround strategies, and over £200 million in capital raised for clients globally.

He currently holds board positions with Baptist Insurance Company plc, DNA Colchester, and Bible Society Resources, and previously directed the World Bank’s $62 million Financial Sector Reform Programme.

Tim’s deep expertise in governance, international finance, and stakeholder strategy will play a critical role as Shaphargroup scales its SAF export platform across Europe and the UK, building climate-aligned fuel infrastructure between China and Europe.
